Dorset House has been selling and shipping its books since its founding in 1984. Now, we're selling online. We chose PayPal for our shopping cart and online processing service. PayPal is convenient and secure. With PayPal, you can purchase books directly from us online. Your order will go straight to our warehouse for fulfillment.

Shipping

Shipping of Dorset House orders paid through PayPal is currently limited to continental U.S. customers ordering via UPS Ground. For rush deliveries, alternate carriers, or delivery outside the contiguous 48 states, please call us directly at (800) 342-6657 or (212) 620-4053, weekdays, 9am to 6pm. Alternatively, fill out our Faxable Order Form and fax to (212) 727-1044. To order from an online bookstore, use the drop-down list of online bookstores on each book's web page. To purchase from a brick-and-mortar bookstore, contact our Recommended Booksellers to verify availability.

Please note that although you can use our PayPal shopping cart to order as many books as you'd like, customers ordering six or more books may save on shipping costs by placing a phone order instead. By phone, we can provide shipping options based on actual weight.

Sales Tax

Orders shipped within New York State will be charged a flat sales tax of 8.5%. Residents of counties where the tax is less than 8.5% will have the difference credited to their PayPal account as soon as the order is processed. No sales tax will be charged to orders shipped to destinations outside of New York State.
